Loretta lives on a family run cattle property north of Alpha in Central Qld, with her husband Noel and two boys. Lochlan has almost finished his education journey completing Year 12 at home via Distance Education and Zane is in Year 7 attending boarding school in Charters Towers.
Loretta worked within the Early Childhood industry for many years before moving and starting her own family. She then worked as a Teacher Aide in a small one teacher school in her area where the boys attended primary school.
Having been involved with ICPA since moving to her area, Loretta decided to nominate for State Council in 2021 at the Cunnamulla State Conference. Loretta has attended a number of State Conferences as a delegate for the Alpha Branch. She has enjoyed being part of State Council lobbying to achieve results for rural and remote children and feels privileged to be able to gain experience and work as part of the ICPA Qld team.
Loretta is not only involved with ICPA Qld State Council but has been the Branch Secretary for her branch for the past 9 years and was also on the Convening Committee as Secretary when Alpha hosted the 2016 State Conference in the first tent city. Loretta is involved in a number of other committees within her local area and enjoys volunteering to assist with events.
