Catherine lives in Moonie on a broad acre cropping and cattle farm with her husband, Brad, and their three children – Elise, Archie, and Henry. The children attended the local primary school, Moonie State School, and are now boarding on the Gold Coast.
Catherine first became involved in the Moonie Branch and attended the Federal Conference in Perth alongside her sister. Since then, she has taken on the role of President of her local Branch and attended her first State Conference in St George, where she joined the State Council.
Catherine has taught at many local schools, taking on a variety of roles including relief teaching, contracts, and even full-time teaching. She is currently working one day a week at Moonie State School, teaching the Arts and Auslan – a role she is deeply passionate about.
When she’s not teaching, Catherine is hard at work on the farm. You’ll often find her behind the wheel of a tractor, header, sprayer, or buggy, or helping in the cattle yards. Occasionally, she swaps her boots for the office chair to manage the farm bookwork.
Above all, Catherine is passionate about ensuring that every child receives the support and assistance they need to thrive.
