Christy and her family live in a beautiful area of western Queensland on a 4th generation cattle station, north-west of Charleville and south of Blackall. Together with her husband Scott, she has two boys aged 17 and 15.
Living 150km from the nearest schools, Christy has been a distance education parent and home tutor, employer of home tutors and is currently a boarding school parent. They have been fortunate to receive subsidies for both distance education and boarding that were made possible by ICPA's advocacy.
With a background in accounting and bookkeeping, together with years as Treasurer on various committees, Christy has experience that will be useful in the role of ICPA Qld Treasurer.
Christy looks forward to making a contribution to ICPA Qld's cause and working with this incredible team of people.
