Conference Events

The Far North Queensland Convening Committee looks forward to welcoming delegates to Atherton for the 55th ICPA Qld State Conference, to be held at the Atherton International Club, 60 Kennedy Highway, Atherton.

Conference Fees

A Conference Package includes:

  • Two-day conference registration
  • Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
  • Access to all conference documentation

Registration Options

  • Earlybird: $150 per day (closes 24 April 2026)

  • Full Registration: $170 per day (closes 13 May 2026)

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend after registering, a substitute delegate is welcome at no additional cost. Substitute registrations will be accepted until 25 May 2026.

If a substitute cannot be arranged, a full refund will be provided if the Registration Coordinator is notified by 13 May 2026, prior to the close of registrations.
No refunds will be issued if cancellation notice is not received by this date, and full payment will apply.

 

Registration

Conference registration will be held at the Atherton International Club and will open from 3:00pm. Please follow signage from the car park to the registration area.

 

Trade Displays

Trade display sites will also be available for set-up from 3:00pm.

Wednesday 3rd June from 6:30pm

Step back in time to the Roaring 1940s (WWII era) and join us for the Conference Dinner at the Rocky Creek WWII Igloo, located on Frazer Road, Tolga.

This unique heritage venue offers the perfect setting to experience a piece of wartime history while enjoying an evening of great food, conversation and entertainment with fellow conference delegates.

The evening is proudly sponsored by Beryl Neilsen Winchester Scholarships and The Winchester Foundation, long-time supporters of the ICPA Qld State Conference.

Dress in your favourite 1940s-inspired attire (WWII era) and get ready for a memorable night celebrating the spirit of the era.

Throughout the evening, the Convening Committee will host an auction, along with the draw of ICPA Qld Education Equity Raffle.

Post Conference Dinner

Thursday 4th June from 6:30pm

Wind down after conference with a relaxed dinner at the Barron Valley Hotel, located at 53 Main Street, Atherton.

A historic Art Deco hotel built in 1940–1941, the venue sits right in the heart of Atherton and has long been a social hub for locals and visitors to the Atherton Tablelands.

Cost: $45/hd
