Steph lives in Nebo with her husband, Jono, and their two children, James and Maisy. She has been a member of the Charters Towers branch since 2022, where she served as Publicity Officer for one year before taking on the same role at the state level with ICPA Qld.
She began her career in the digital world in 2015 in photography and graphic design, sparking a passion for creativity and visual communication. Over time, she expanded into digital marketing and content creation, gaining a decade of experience across the digital media landscape. In 2022, she completed a Diploma in Digital Media, formalising her practical skills and reinforcing her commitment to lifelong learning.
Now studying a Bachelor of Education (Primary), Steph is channelling her industry experience into a new direction. Supporting her own children through Charters Towers School of Distance Education has deepened her understanding of how young learners engage with content and inspired her to create inclusive, creative, and digitally enriched learning experiences. Her end goal is to teach in rural and remote schools, where she hopes to make a meaningful contribution to the communities that have shaped her journey.
