Bill Alexander had been a dedicated member of his ICPA Branch since 1974, providing more than two decades of committed service by the time he was awarded Life Membership in 1997.
Bill first became Branch President in 1975, continuing in the role the following year. Alongside Rhondda, he was instrumental in organising and hosting an ICPA Gymkhana at Marion Downs Station in 1977, one of many ways he supported Branch activities beyond his formal executive roles.
From 1979 to 1984, Bill served as Vice President, before becoming President again in 1985 and 1986. He later returned to the role of Vice President in 1993, continuing in that position until 1996.
Throughout his involvement, Bill’s contribution extended well beyond executive positions. He was a constant supporter of Branch meetings, fundraising activities, conferences and events, generously giving his time and effort to help keep the Branch active and strong.
In recognition of his longstanding service, leadership and commitment to ICPA, Bill Alexander was awarded Life Membership in 1997, acknowledging the significant contribution he had made to the Branch since its early years.
