Megan lives on a cattle station north of Julia Creek with her husband and 3 children. The 2 younger children are currently completing their primary education with Mt Isa School of the Air. The eldest is currently completing his secondary education as a boarder at Blackheath and Thornburgh College in Charters Towers.
Megan completed her primary education as a weekly boarder at St Joseph’s Catholic School in Julia Creek and her secondary education at The Cathedral School in Townsville.
Megan first became a financial member of the ICPA Katherine Branch when her first child started his education with Katherine School of the Air. Megan transferred to the Julia Creek Branch in 2017 when she and her husband purchased back the property where she grew up... exactly 100 years after her grandfather first settled in 1917!
Megan’s father Jack Beach has played a critical role in ICPA over a number of years, serving as both State and Federal President and is a Federal, State and Julia Creek Branch Life Member. Megan has always held a great respect for ICPA and is extremely proud of her father’s contributions and commitment over the years. He offers constant support and is a wealth of knowledge that Megan often taps into as she navigates her newly appointed role as Vice-President of the Julia Creek Branch.
Megan is proud to serve her local branch and is committed to doing her best to providing valued support to her fellow members and executive team.
