Leah Fisher – Charleville Branch Life Member, 1978
Leah Fisher was an active and valued member of the Charleville Branch of ICPA, contributing her time and skills to the administration of the Branch during its early years. Her involvement came at an important time as the relatively new Branch continued to establish itself and advocate for isolated families throughout the district.
In May 1973, Leah was elected Secretary/Treasurer of the Charleville Branch, taking on the responsibility of supporting the day-to-day operation and financial administration of the Branch. She continued in this combined role for more than five years, providing dedicated and consistent service to ICPA and its members.
Leah remained Secretary/Treasurer until 17 November 1978, when her years of service and commitment were recognised with the presentation of Life Membership of the Charleville Branch.
Leah’s Life Membership acknowledged her significant contribution during the formative years of the Charleville Branch and the many years she devoted to supporting its work. Her Life Membership badge was later presented on 9 November 1984, providing further recognition of her valued service to ICPA and rural and remote families.
