Anneli lives with her husband Iain on a cattle property in the Clarke Creek/Nebo district. They have three children. Two are attending boarding schools in Brisbane and their eldest son is currently completing an apprenticeship in Toowoomba. Anneli was a founding member of the proactive Clarke Creek Branch in 2005 and has held various executive roles for more than a decade. She was a member of the 2011 convening committee that hosted the Rockhampton Conference. Anneli has taught in metropolitan schools, rural one teacher schools and educated all three of her own children through Distance Education. She currently does teacher relief at the surrounding small schools. Anneli is very passionate about creating better educational opportunities for all geographically Isolated children and their families.
