Welcome to Southern Downs Branch!
The Southern Downs Branch began its journey as the Stanthorpe District Branch on the 2nd November 2000, when 7 families joined and Mrs Cathy Smith was voted in as the inaugural President. With the support of the communities and families from a little further afield, the branch has grown to encompass the areas of Stanthorpe, Karara, Inglewood, Texas and over the border to Bonshaw and has now become known as the Southern Downs Branch. Today the branch has around 35 members and enjoys support from a number of P & Cs and organisations. We are an active branch in our community that engages with our families and students and meets quarterly to discuss ideas and ways to ensure our students are well supported.
Since 2014 the Southern Downs ICPA Diligence award has been given to students who attend schools where P & C’s are members of our branch. This award aims to recognise those students who strive to reach their potential in academic studies, sport, attitude and general conduct within their school.

The Southern Downs Branch Bursary:
One bursary will be awarded per tertiary student per year to undertake placement in the fields of health and education within the Southern Downs ICPA area. Applications via email to southerndownsicpa@gmail.com
