Welcome to the Channel Country Branch!
The Channel Country Branch was formed in Jundah on 15 October 1977 with 18 members.The inaugural office bearers were: Mrs Teresa Cobb, President; Mr Rob Bolton, Vice-President and Mrs Robyn Condon, Sectretary and Treasurer. Today our branch membership includes Life Members, Mr and Mrs Reg Arthur.
The Branch covers an area of the Barcoo Shire including the small towns of Windorah, Jundah and Stonehenge that each have a small school. The outlying areas are serviced by Charleville and Longreach Schools of Distance Education.
Areas of interest for our branch include all facets of education from Pre-School to tertiary.
