The Isolated Children's Parents' Association of New South Wales has achieved a lot in the last 53 years by raising awareness and advocating for equitable access to education for geographically isolated children. As educational expectations increase, so does the work of ICPA-NSW, as the organisation continues to advocate to both government and stakeholders.
It is for this reason that the Isolated Children's Parents' Association of NSW is just as important now as it was when first formed in 1972, just after the formation of ICPA (Aust) in Bourke in 1971.
