Sally Brindal WA

Sally Brindal
Background:

Sally is married and lives on a broadacre cropping property, “Murrumbah” 25kms north west of Mingenew, in the Midwest of Western Australia.

Sally grew up in Culmstock, a rural village in Devon, England.  After completing a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Sally spent some time backpacking through New Zealand, and then Australia, where she met her husband Steve. A couple of years were then spent in the UK working as Legal and Business Advisor for an Agricultural Accountant before returning to Australia.

Sally and Steve have three children, all of whom attended the local rural primary school before heading to Perth for boarding school.  One daughter has completed her undergraduate degree, the other daughter has commenced her university journey this year and their son commenced a business traineeship this year.

Sally has been a member of Midwest ICPA branch for a number of years joining WA State Council in 2018, taking on the position of President in 2020.  Sally has held the Allowances, Travel and Communications portfolios during that time. Sally is currently the Immediate Past President and Publicity Officer.

Sally believes passionately that although families may be geographically isolated, it does not mean they are, need to be or should be isolated from education. Sally is excited to be a part of the Federal Council team and giving back to an organisation from which her children’s education has benefitted.
