Olivia grew up on and now works at Paroo Station, a cattle property east of Meekatharra.

She was taught through Meekatharra School of the Air and attended boarding school in Perth for her secondary education. She went on to complete a degree in journalism.

Olivia is passionate about the role distance education plays in the lives of geographically isolated children and their families.
