Supported Pathway into Teaching: New pathway for teacher aides to become teachers in Queensland state schools

"Teacher Aides are often the lifeblood of our schools, and many are wanting to take the next step into teaching: we want to absolutely encourage and support that which is what this pathway program is all about."

Teacher Aides will receive paid leave for exams and professional experience placements, with schools funded to backfill during their absence. Upon registration, all Teacher Aides in the pathway will be offered permanent employment in a priority location. This is a great pathway for R&R Teacher Aides interested in pursuing a teaching degree. More information available on at Teach Queensland.
