Sally Campbell has made a significant contribution to the Blackall Branch of ICPA, serving in a range of leadership and advocacy roles over many years.
Sally served as Vice President in 2001 before taking on the role of President from 2002 to 2005. She later served as Treasurer in 2012 and was the Branch’s Risk Management Officer from 2005 to 2009. Sally was also a member of the 2004 State Conference Committee, assisting with registrations, and attended several ICPA conferences.
A particularly important part of Sally’s contribution was her advocacy for improved financial support for geographically isolated families. In her Branch capacity, she played a major role in seeking the first implementation of Bypassing the Living Away From Home Allowance (LAFHA) for Blackall.
Sally was also instrumental in the implementation of the Blackall Townhouse Bursary and represented ICPA on the Townhouse Bursary Committee from 2005 to 2013, demonstrating a longstanding commitment to supporting educational opportunities for rural and remote students.
In recognition of her dedicated leadership, advocacy and valuable contribution to the Blackall Branch and ICPA, Sally Campbell was awarded Life Membership of the Blackall Branch.
