Penny Wagstaff joined the Blackall Branch of ICPA in 1978 and was elected to the Branch Committee two years later. She went on to provide more than 20 years of dedicated service, holding numerous executive positions including Treasurer, Vice President, President and Publicity Officer. She served several terms as President and remained actively involved with the Branch until retiring from the Committee at the 2000 AGM.
Penny was also a strong supporter of ICPA conferences, representing the Branch as a delegate at Federal Conferences in Sydney, Mt Isa, Port Augusta and Roma, as well as attending State Conferences in Roma and Longreach.
Throughout her years with ICPA, Penny was recognised as a willing and enthusiastic contributor, giving generously of her time to meetings, fundraising and catering activities. Her knowledge of ICPA, positive outlook, professionalism and commitment made her a valued and respected member of the Blackall Branch.
In recognition of her exceptional service and more than two decades of commitment to ICPA, Penny Wagstaff was awarded Life Membership of the Blackall Branch in 2001.
