Background:
Meg was the first Assistant Secretary for Qld State Council once the position was created at the Blackall State Conference in 1975, and she held this position until 1981.
During these years, Meg helped to develop a strong relationship between the State Council and Branches and contributed much to the growth of the Association. Meg continued to hold a position on her local Branch executive for many years after her resignation from Qld Council.
Meg was awarded a Qld Certificate of Appreciation in 1984.
