Kasie lives on a family run cattle property North West of Clermont with her husband Josh and six children. Hayley, now 19, works on a cattle station as a governess where she has been since graduating Year 12 from Townsville Grammar School in 2021.  Logan, 17, is in the workforce.  Jorja, 15, is currently in Year 10, Tayla is in Year 7 and Isla and Beau are in Year 4 and 1 respectively, and undertaking their primary schooling with Charters Towers SDE.  During the time that Kasie has had children at school, she has been involved with eKindy, small rural primary schools, distance education, boarding schools and kids travelling to school on rural bus runs.

Kasie joined the Clermont branch of ICPA in 2012 and has been heavily involved ever since.  She has held the Branch Treasurer role for the past nine years, and is also on the Clermont ICPA Sports Camp Committee, something she has been a part of for the past ten years.

Kasie has travelled far and wide attending many Qld State Conferences as well as Federal Conferences. Kasie has a passion for the education of our rural and remote children.  Kasie joined State Council in 2019 in Charters Towers, and has thoroughly enjoyed being able to lobby for access to the absolute best education for our children.  She looks forward to being able to keep bringing the problems that our rural and remote families face to the forefront.  Kasie believes that the role ICPA plays in the lives of these families is invaluable and that we would all be a little lost without it.  In 2023 Kasie steps up to Vice President of ICPA Qld & is looking forward to the challenge of moving from Councillor to Vice President.
