Diana Schutt joined the Blackall Branch of ICPA in 1985, shortly after moving to the Blackall district. She immediately became involved with the Branch Committee and went on to provide 16 years of dedicated service, holding numerous executive positions including Vice President, Treasurer, President and Publicity Officer.
Diana was a committed representative of ICPA beyond her local Branch, attending numerous State and Federal Conferences. In 1995, she took on the significant role of ICPA Qld State Councillor, serving for four years while continuing her involvement with the Blackall Branch. This required considerable travel and time away from home as she represented the interests of rural and remote families at State level.
A hardworking and dependable member, Diana also contributed countless hours to Branch fundraising and catering activities. She was recognised for her efficiency, practical approach and willingness to volunteer whenever a job needed to be done. Her knowledge of ICPA, encouragement of others and commitment to the Branch made her a highly valued member.
In recognition of her exceptional service and outstanding contribution to ICPA, Diana Schutt was awarded Life Membership of the Blackall Branch in 2001.
