Madi grew up on and currently lives at Bulloo Downs Station, a cattle property south of Newman.

Madi completed her primary schooling through Meekatharra School of the Air, and is also an ex-boarder.

She has worked as a governess for several years (including working in QLD), which has given her a unique perspective on home tutoring and a passion for strengthening the delivery of distance education.
