I grew up in Geelong, Victoria, meeting my husband in 2010 brought me to Wanaaring, where we are 3rd generation on our sheep station located 200km West of Bourke NSW. Like every bush mum / farmers wife, my daily hats change from mum, book keeper, cook, stockwoman and taxi driver, a role which I enjoy immensely
I am the mother to three Bush Boys who enjoy every aspect of growing up in the bush. I was inspired by my local community to join the Louth Branch of ICPA 6 years ago, as it stands out as imperative part of advocating for our children’s and children’s of the future education. I am currently school my eldest son through Distance Education, with the other to follow suit, then to boarding school. I look forward to learning and contributing towards to helping improve rural and remote education.
