Myfi Kellahan

Myfi Kellahan
Background:

Hi, my name is Myfi Kellahan I was born and bred in Camden on the outskirts of Sydney. I went to school in Sydney as a day student, so I have had a different path to ICPA than most.

I first came across ICPA when I started to look for boarding schools for my son when he was just 16months old. I joined our local branch at West Wyalong in 2014 and when the branch closed, I joined as a Lone Member. I was fortunate to be involved in the organising committee for State Conference in Mudgee in 2018 when Lone’s hosted the conference, this was a wonderful insight into all things ICPA.

My husband Jason and I have two children Charlie (16) at Knox Grammar and Grace (12) who has just started at Loreto Normanhurst.

I was living in Dubbo when I met Jason and moved to West Wyalong in 2001 to join him. Jason manages a broadacre cropping property near West Wyalong, and I work at our local hospital in administration.

I had always intended to become more involved in ICPA and this year at Conference thought why not. Like most newbies I feel out of my depth, I felt daunted in taking on the Health and Well-Being portfolio and assisting on the Boarding portfolio, wonder how I will have time and a million other questions but know that it is worth it. Look forward to meeting and speaking with you all soon.
