Background:

Jill Greenfield grew up on a farm in the southeast of South Australia and attended local primary and secondary schools before spending her final two years of education at a boarding school in Adelaide. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Primary Teaching at Magill campus, Adelaide. After graduating, Jill ventured north to work as a governess for a year, during which time she met her future husband, Col. She has taught in various schools across Northern SA, including the Port Augusta School of the Air.

Jill and Col have three daughters who completed their primary education through Port Augusta School of the Air before attending boarding school in Adelaide for their secondary studies. Their daughters are now either working or pursuing tertiary education.

Jill has been actively involved with the ICPA, serving as State Treasurer and State President for SA, and has been a dedicated member of the North West branch for 25 years, holding the Secretary position for 18 years, as well as President and State Councillor positions throughout this time. She is honoured to have received life membership at both the local and state levels.

In addition to her work with the ICPA, Jill enjoys volunteering with various community groups. She is currently involved with the local gymkhana committee and serves as a board member of the Remote and Isolated Children’s Exercise (RICE). Between her volunteering efforts and staying connected with her adult children, Jill and her husband manage their pastoral and farming enterprise in Northern SA, at Billa Kalina Station.
