Gemma lives in Kalgoorlie and has been a teacher in regional secondary and primary schools for the past 24 years. She has taught in Broome, Karratha, Albany and Kalgoorlie. Gemma is passionate about ensuring all children, no matter where they live in WA, are given the same access and opportunities in education as that of their city peers.  She has a wealth of knowledge from a teaching perspective, as well as being the mother of a young child attending a regional school.
