Edwina hails from the extremely fertile region of the lower South West in Western Australia. Edwina loves nothing more than picking and eating fresh fruit and often wonders how on earth she ended up living in an arid environment!
Edwina and her partner Ian manage Wilgena Station, a sheep station in the North West region of South Australia, definitely no fruit trees where they are. Together they have four beautiful and individually talented children. Their eldest son has finished boarding school and is taking a gap year leaving one more son and a daughter to attend boarding school in Adelaide, with their youngest daughter remaining at home on the station.
Edwina, amongst many things, is kept busy cooking for staff, looking after her toddler, travelling to see her teenage sons and daughter and maintaining life in her drought tolerant garden.
Edwina, in her previous role as the home schoolroom supervisor, has played a pivotal role in her children’s education. She is proud that through her enthusiasm and dedication to her children’s education, she has helped develop their greatest learning potentials.
Previously, Edwina filled the shoes of the State Secretary for the SAICPA and is currently the President for her North West SAICPA branch.
