Courtney lives on Angepena Station near Leigh Creek with her partner, Luke, and their young son, Alfie. She grew up at Almerta in the Flinders Ranges and travelled daily to Orroroo for her schooling which was an experience that shaped her strong connection to rural education. After finishing school, Courtney worked for RICE for several years, afterwards her time was spent working on stations throughout the Flinders Ranges. Today, she balances life as a mum to Alfie with helping out on Angepena whenever she can, and running my small jewellery business. New to the State Council, Courtney is looking forward to learning, contributing, and becoming more involved. She has a strong interest in early childhood education, supporting rural schools, and understanding the diverse ways families manage travel to and from school.
