Background:
Katy Hayes and her family live on Arckaringa Station in the far north of SA, 650km south of Alice Springs.
Katy completed primary school through Alice Springs School of the Air and secondary schooling at boarding school. Through this time, she had first hand insight into the issues ICPA was advocating for, and the importance of this advocacy, through watching her Mum serve on both the local and NT State ICPA in various roles.
Katy is passionate about the future of rural/remote agricultural communities and businesses,
and as such, this passion extends to advocating for the improvement of education delivery and
opportunities in geographically isolated locations for our most precious treasure, our children.
