The inaugural meeting was held at the Community Centre on 10th October 1986. Mr & Mrs Ross Coad of Vermont Hill chaired the meeting and gave an outline of the benefits of ICPA. Office Bearers elected were: President - Paddy Reardon, Secretary - June Hassan, Treasurer - Genene Reardon. Paddy Reardon held the position of President until November 1997 - eleven years.
In March 1998 the State Conference was held in Condobolin with June Hassan as the convenor. The convening branches were Vermont Hill and Condobolin.
Membership numbers have fluctuated during the years, with 18 member families in 1986, rising to a high of 31 in 1997 and currently steady with 23 members.
