Rural and Regional Enterprise Scholarships
****APPLICATIONS FOR ROUND 5 ARE NOW OPEN - APPLY EARLY ****
On 1 March 2021, Minister for Education and Youth, Hon Alan Tudge announced Round 5 of the Rural and Regional Enterprise Scholarships Program. The Rural and Regional Enterprise Scholarships Program aims to improve access to and completion rate of undergraduate, postgraduate and Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses and supports students from regional and remote areas of Australia. Further consideration will be given to students affected by recent natural disasters including drought and bushfire.
RRES
- are valued at up to $18,000 each
- available to support students studying from six months full-time and up to 8 years part-time,
- on campus, or through online and distance education.
- open to students from regional and remote areas in Australia studying in any discipline from Certificate IV to PhD level with an eligible higher education provider or vocational education and training institution.
- additional $500 to support an internship.
