Born and raised as the 4th generation on Muloorina station North of Marree.
Growing up the station was sheep and cattle, but they now run solely cattle and an earthmoving enterprise on the side.
Lisa studied primary school through Port Augusta School of the Air via HF radio and completed high school while boarding at Loreto College in Adelaide.
Lisa has tried her hand at few different careers since leaving school, but the desert kept calling so she moved with her now husband back to Muloorina for a ‘6 month stop over’ in 2010 and they haven’t left.
Lisa and her husband have 2 children, Jase and Charlotte on Port Augusta SOTA with a govie in the classroom.
Lisa grew up watching her mother passionately fight for the educational rights of children through the ICPA her entire life and she is honoured to take a leaf from her book and help continue the Marree Air Branch.
