Kirsty has been involved with SA ICPA since joining the Marla Oodnadatta Branch in 2012. Growing up on a property north of Port Augusta, with parents who were also heavily involved in ICPA, Kirsty experienced both Distance Education and face-to-face schooling before attending boarding school in Adelaide for her secondary years. She later completed a Bachelor of Education through the University of South Australia, teaching in several country schools before completing a Graduate Diploma of Psychology through Monash University.
Kirsty and her husband Cameron now live at The Peake Station, a beef cattle property on the Oodnadatta Track. They have four children, with two attending boarding school in Adelaide and two undertaking Distance Education through Port Augusta School of the Air (SOTA).
Kirsty has held the SA ICPA Vice-President role for the 4 years prior to taking on the President role, and alongside her involvement in local community organisations, advisory groups, and having completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course, brings valuable governance experience.
Kirsty is passionate about supporting rural communities and working collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes for rural and remote families, so that our communities can continue to thrive well into the future.
