Background:
Kate grew up in Sydney and worked around Australia as a vet before settling in SA.
Kate and her husband Adam run Mt Lyndhurst Station on the Strzelecki Track with their two children, Sydney and Olivia.
After a year of trying to teach her own children through SOTA, Kate decided that the daily trek to Leigh Creek for school would be a better option for everyone’s sanity. Both children are both now looking at boarding school for their senior years.
Kate has been a member of ICPA since before her first child was born as Lyn (LITCHFIELD) had explained the importance of the organisation and its work for the rights of isolated children.
