Hello Readers,
The post-federal conference magazine is always a highlight to put together. It allows for a little reminiscing on a fantastic event, and I enjoy collaborating with Federal Council to put together stories about Federal Conference. In this issue you will find stories about departing councillors, new councillors, conference reflections and my annual Pedals report presented at the ICPA (Aust) AGM.
In addition to a Federal Conference debrief, you will find some great branch updates and stories. As I was putting this issue together, I identified a common thread – ICPA’s reach is far beyond simply providing advocacy for equitable education. Many stories within the pages of this magazine are centred around ICPA branches assisting with community events, providing bursaries that create opportunities for young people and being a proactive, positive presence within rural Australian towns.
