Happy 2024 Readers!
I hope you all had a wonderful festive season and are feeling refreshed and ready for 2024. As with the beginning of each new year, I’m sure for some of you, there is change on the horizon. Whether that be your child is transitioning to primary school, secondary school, boarding school, into their post-school years or anything in between, I know the weight that this new season can hold. Firstly, I hope you can find calm in the chaos that often accompanies these transitional periods and that the new path being walked is fruitful.
The beginning of a new year also allows us to take stock of the year that was and set our sights and goals on what lies ahead. May 2024 be everything you hope for and more, may it align with your values, hold infinite goodness and be a year of progress in every facet of your life.
In this issue you’ll find an abundance of stories. Lara Jensen has written a touching piece on the power and value of REVISE, a unique education assistance program available to Western Australian families (page 42). Ivy Anderson (12yrs) and Magenta Williams (10yrs) have both written book reviews for the new novel One Wrong Turn. Thanks to Fremantle Press for sending a pre-release copy of the novel to Ivy and Magenta for review. You can find their review on page 36.
As always, thank you to everyone who has contributed content for this edition – I would be lost without you.
until next time... HANNAH CALCINO
