Federal Council's recent delegation to Canberra was a week full of positive meetings and advocacy on behalf of our members. Being able to meet face to face with representatives from Services Australia, the Department of Social Services and the Department of Education was a great opportunity to continue to build good working relationships with these departments.
Being in Canberra in Budget week and having over 30 meetings in Parliament House the day after the new government's first budget, was a fantastic experience and such a wonderful opportunity for our Federal Council to have the voices of our members heard.
