That Federal Council undertake a structured and transparent consultation process with members, Branches and State Councils before any revised Constitution is presented for adoption.
Explanation:
Members support the need to review and modernise the Constitution. However, the proposed changes are significant and members need to first understand the purpose of the changes, which changes are required and which are governance choices.
A structured consultation process will allow members to contribute meaningfully, assist Federal Council in understanding member expectations and help ensure any future Constitution is fit for purpose and reflects ICPA's unique member-driven and federated structure.
