Leisa has lived in the North East Pastoral Area since she was born. Whilst her parents managed Braemar Station she did her primary schooling through Broken Hill School of the Air and completed high school in Adelaide privately boarding until time returned to work around SA on various pastoral properties and shearing teams until her late 20’s.
Her and partner Josh took over management of Braemar and daughter Abby is currently finishing her primary schooling with Port Augusta SOTA this year and will start high school at Burra Community School.
With of passion of spending more time outside than in, Abby also shares a love of horses that see’s the family travel around the state to various Gymkhana’s.
Leisa’s mother Ann was a long time North East ICPA member and Leisa has taken on the President’s position with the North East Branch and hopes to contribute towards ICPA continuing supporting remote education.
