Background:
In March 1993 at the SA State Conference in Glendambo, Julia was awarded State Life Membership. A former member of the Port Augusta Branch, Julia was elected foundation President of the North West Branch in 1982 and served in this role until 1985, while also representing the branch on State Council. She was elected State Secretary in 1985 and held this position for three years. In 1987 Julia was elected Assistant Federal Secretary until 1989 when she became the Federal Secretary.
Julia is also a Branch Life Member of the North East Branch.
