Background:

Dot held the position of Branch Secretary from 1977 to 1981, before serving as President of the Branch.

Dot compiled a Branch history booklet and was integral in organising fundraising events – and even a State Conference at Yunta. Dot was also an active Correspondence School Councillor.

Dot also served on State Council as Publicity Officer for some time.

Dot along with other North East Branch members were instrumental in setting up the Goyder Boarding House in Burra which as serviced a high number of boarders attending the local Burra Community School over the years.

Dot and David lived with children Julie and Robert on Four Brothers Station north of Yunta for some years before moving to Burra, - and later to Adelaide.

Dot was awarded Branch Life Membership in 1988.
