Lisa Kimlin and her family live at Murray Downs, a cattle station 400km north of Alice Springs, where they manage the property for an international company.
Lisa has three children; the two oldest girls are boarding students at Westminster school in Adelaide and their youngest son attends Alice Springs School of the Air.
Lisa is passionate about ICPA and believes it provides great support within a community environment and the challenges that come with educating geographically isolated students. Lisa’s husband also grew up with a school of the air education and then attended boarding school - and ICPA was there as a great support for his family during these years as well.
The Alice Springs Branch and members are hoping for a great year ahead; advocating for the equity of education for geographically isolated students, along with fundraising for the branch through various community events and attending local and state meetings and conferences throughout the year.
