Media Release - Results are in, costs too high for too long
The greatest educational disadvantage faced by many families in remote and isolated locations is the lack of access to an appropriate secondary education compared to those residing in urban areas.
In response to members’ concerns about the high costs of educating children away from home, Isolated Children’s Parents’ Association (ICPA), Australia conducted research into the financial impact that Boarding School costs are having on families. The report and recommendations have been presented to federal politicians in Canberra this week.
